About Our Hospital
Kindred Hospital Milwaukee is Wisconsin’s leading long-term acute care hospital, providing intensive specialty care to medically complex patients. We offer an efficient, multidisciplinary team-based approach to care.
Kindred Hospital Milwaukee is a 62-bed long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital, providing intensive specialty care to medically complex patients. It is accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Kindred Hospital Milwaukee is conveniently located 13 miles from downtown Milwaukee in the historic suburb of Greenfield.
Kindred Hospitals serve as the bridge for patients who are medically complex and require acute care, but do not need to remain in a short-term acute care hospital. It is our goal to help patients grow stronger and more stable before they are discharged home or to a lower level of care. We use a multidisciplinary team approach to care that helps our patients return to the highest quality of life possible.
