Our patients are medically complex, and to provide the most cost-effective care for them our hospitals feature intensive care units or special care units where they can receive the focused, specialized care they need.
Kindred Hospital Milwaukee maintains a six-bed ICU/Special Care Unit for patients requiring more extensive monitoring. Patient care is overseen by registered nurses who have specialized training in critical care, in conjunction with our physicians.
